Old toys = Good times

So recently with my change in situation, the closing of my store and the opening of the Harbourview Market, I have had the oppertunity to go through a lot of old stuff that hadnt been looked at for ages and volia I have been fortunate enough to find a few real gems. Possibly the crown jewel of the bunch is this Palisades Muppets-Backstage at the Muppet Show playset here...



This was something that had been sitting in the backroom at the shop for god knows how long due most likely to the shape of the packaging but it has since been uncovered and can be purchased here.

PnP on MTG-Salvation

For those of you that might stumble across this that don't already know the site MTG Salvation has an excellent altered art thread with many great artist that regularly participate. The reason why I mention this is that one of the in my opnion rather fun activities we do on the forum is what we call Paint and Present (PnP) where we agree on a card and give everyone a couple weeks to do an alter of the card. All the alters are then sent to one person (usually the user Bigup) to be posted simultaneously. The fun of this is that we get to see several different artists takes on the same card all at 1 time. Well the lastest PnP was just posted this morning and was of the card Counterspell, and here is what I came up with...

Welcome To the Den...of iniquity

Hi I started this Blog mostly for 2 reasons,...first so that I could get the word out about my activities at the Harbourview Weekend Market located on Canal Street in Dartmouth Nova Scotia where I can be found every Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 4pm selling everyting from Magic:TG packs and singles and various action figures to dashboard monks on a spring! All that and one of the largest selections of boardgames in metro and at prices you can't beat! I can also be found selling more "Collectible" items as well as MTG card alters on Ebay under the username Bleedingted Here.

My second primary reason for starting this blog is to discuss the hobby of MTG Card Alteration and to that end I will be in the coming weeks I will be posting tutorials as well as new artworks as i come up with them. I may just also sneak in a post here and there of some of my other artwork.
